About

A blind crest is a rise where the road drops away

You arrive at speed with no information about what is on the other side. You either lift, or you commit and find out. It is the exact moment a driver's nerve gets tested with nothing to justify it.

That is the name. It is also the point.

The commitment is real, even when the car isn't

Sim racing gets called a video game by people who have never held a car on the edge for two hours at 3am, learned one corner a thousand times, or lost a podium in the final sector.

The wheel is real. The hours are real. The concentration it takes to run a clean stint when you are tired and someone is two tenths behind you is real. Blind Crest makes gear for the people putting those hours in.

What we make

Shirts you can wear outside the house, written in the language sim racers actually use. The reference lands instantly with someone who races and sails straight past someone who doesn't.

That is deliberate. If a design explains itself to everybody, it is not really for anybody.

No licensed junk

No game titles. No hardware brands. No team names, driver names, liveries or circuit marks.

Partly that is the law. Mostly it is that the logos were never the interesting part. The interesting part is the divebomb into turn one, the setup you spent three hours on and never drove, the driver swap at 4am, the argument about who left whom room. None of that belongs to anyone, and all of it is worth putting on a shirt.

How it gets made

Everything is printed after you order it, on Comfort Colors 1717 garment-dyed heavyweight cotton. Nothing sits in a warehouse.

That means it takes a few days longer than something pulled off a shelf. It also means we can run a wide range without throwing away whatever fails to sell.

Garment dyeing means every shirt takes the dye a little differently. Small variation between pieces is normal. It is the finish, not a fault.

Who you are dealing with

A small operation, not a warehouse. Email support@blindcrest.com and a person reads it, usually replying within a business day.

If something arrives wrong we will fix it. And if we have got a call wrong on a design, tell us. The range comes from what racers actually say, so we would rather hear it.
